Logo History
In 2015 Philadelphia 76ers decided to unveil an updated brand identity by redesigning their logos. From then until now they switched their primary logo with the secondary and made slight changes to their color schemes. The primary logo is the one made back in 1963 while the secondary (global) is the one made in 2015.

76ers Global Logo
The revamped Sixers’ global logo embodies the 1977 logo in which the beloved basketball has undergone a stylish makeover with rotated seams for an updated look. The ball is surrounded by a thick blue border which features six white stars, paying homage to America’s founding principles. The wordmark “PHILADELPHIA” proudly stretches across the top in bold letters.

76ers Secondary Logo
76ers’ secondary logo features the wordmark “PHILA” written in all caps styled using blue long shadow giving it a flat 3D look.
